But it's a better tool these days for as-it-happens news, that's for sure. :) Also, that Greasemonkey script is win, I have it too. All three websites perform their function effectively. However I think the advantage Twitter has over Google and maybe Wolfram Alpha is the real time factor. Knowing what is going on at that particular moment is amazing. While Google Search incorporates it's news it doesn't give the real time feeling. However for now Google executes its main purpose very well, but in the future we will continue to see how important what is going on at that particular moment is. It would be hard or nearly impossible to find the Nike (shoe company) website using twitter. All three are completely unique and perform their task extremely well.
